Topic: New Innovations the Mainframe Needs
My next article for Destination Z is tentatively titled "New Innovations We Need on the Mainframe" and I'm planning to review a number of areas that have occurred to me since I was a new mainframer. Back when I started in 1987, we already had PC's (but not Windows) with things like keyboard macros and mouse interaction, and I was surprised to discover that 3270 terminals didn't enable such customization (except for the keystroke recorder).
